The First Consultation

On your first visit to our office, our dentist will conduct a thorough dental exam. The purpose of the exam is to review the status of your current oral health and to resolve any possible dental problems prior to the treatment. Once an examination has been conducted, our dentist will take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to make your Invisalign aligners. These aligners are then given to you along with instructions on how to use and take care of them properly.

Invisalign aligners are Virtually Invisible

The reason many of our patients resort to Invisalign is due to its transparency. The aligners consist of medical grade plastic components, allowing Invisalign to be discreet. Although they are transparent, they will still be slightly noticeable.

Invisalign aligners are detachable

Invisalign aligners are the only alternative to traditional braces in which can be removed at your convenience. Although our dentist will recommend wearing them as much as possible throughout your treatment, it is nice to have the option to remove them, in case of a special event or when you drink or eat.

The duration of Invisalign all depends on the severity of your case. Although, the average time for this treatment is about 12-15 months.

Easier Maintenance than Metal Braces

Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign aligners are easy to clean. Our dentist will suggest cleaning them every time you remove them and before inserting them. To clean them, you can simply run them under warm water.

A fundamental reason why patients have started to opt for Invisalign is because it’s made up of BPA-free plastic and does not have any plasticizers or other dangerous toxins that can be released into your mouth.

Once you have completed your Invisalign treatment, our dentist will suggest wearing a retainer. The purpose of the retainer is to prevent your teeth from shifting into the position they were in prior to the treatment. Our dentist will discuss the time needed for you to wear retainers as this aspect can vary from patient to patient.

Invisalign aligners are a great alternative that can provide you with a smile you will be proud of.
